3v3 dinghy team racing is a fast-paced, highly strategic, short course sailing format, popular at Universities.
Two teams compete over a best of X races, each fielding three identical boats (2 sailors per boat, so 12 total). The goal is to achieve a winning points combination by teams aggressively using match-racing rules to slow their opponents, rather than simply trying to finish first.

Helms should know and understand the rules of racing, but anyone can crew. There will be a rules, theory and strategy briefing at 1pm before the racing begins.
