Most of our facilities are accessible to all, apart from our upstairs classroom and licensed bar, which are currently only accessible by a stairway.  However, we can also operate classroom training and the bar from our ground floor wet bar.  If you rely on a support worker for personal care or assistance, they must attend with you as we are unable to provide this level of support.

FOSSC Inclusion Statement - disabled adults and children

Frampton on Severn Sailing Club (FOSSC) provides the opportunity for anyone to sail, whatever their physical or mental ability.  We want everyone to feel welcome, safe, and able to take part.

Prospective members are invited to contact the club to view our facilities.  We welcome those with additional needs/disabled people to our club.  If a disabled person would like or require additional and tailored support to access the water, we offer dedicated Sailability session most Saturday morning from mid-April to end September.  We welcome you to try our activities and facilities.

We have a broad range of sailing dinghies, including several specially designed dinghies that will not capsize and so are perfectly safe for sailing in most conditions (either solo or with an experienced buddy).  Jetty hoists are available, operated by our trained volunteers.  We have powerboats including one that is adapted for roll on wheelchairs and can be driven by a wheelchair user.  Our sailing and powerboat training can be adapted to cater for all abilities.

Most of our facilities are accessible to all, apart from our upstairs classroom and licensed bar, which are currently only accessible by a stairway.  However, we can also operate classroom training and our bar from our ground floor wet bar.  If you rely on a support worker for personal care or assistance, they must attend with you as we are unable to provide this level of support.

Access information is available from our website home page: see Accessibility.

We recognise the need for all members to be able to communicate their ideas.  You can get in touch with us by phone, email, or via our website.  We welcome feedback and will seek to resolve issues raised promptly.

Enjoy boating on our wonderful lake in an inclusive environment without barriers.
