Change to Race Start Times: From 25 October to 6 December inclusive, the second race of the day will be advertised as starting at 1230 (change from 1245). The race will NOT start earlier than this, but may start later depending on weather and finish time of the first race.

Dear member, NHS Test and Trace Following on from the government’s recent announcements on covid 19, there is now a legal obligation on clubs and centres to collate contact data from all individuals or the lead individual for a group of up to six who visit FOSSC. The obligation to collect contact details applies to both indoor and outdoor settings and in relation to both sporting and social activities. From 24 September the Club will display the NHS Test and Trace QR code to aid this process. The QR code can be found displayed in both the inside of the club’s main entrance and in the Wet Bar area. FOSSC Covid Update The Covid Committee met on Friday 14th August to review the Club’s sailing program and current restrictions. Sailing From 1st September the Club will revert to its published sailing program. The Committee Boat will be brought into service to support a wider choice of courses. Access to the fuel store key will be re-established to allow access for the Committee boat keys and fuel as standard FOSSC procedures. After use, the Committee Boat will be kept moored to the starting hut. Members rostered for OOD, AOD and rescue boat are requested undertake their duties.
