April 3rd is the last Board Games Social of the season!
Published 18:16 on 30 Mar 2026
Looking forward to welcoming you all for the last Board Games Social night (until September!)
The theme this month is 'anything goes'.
As always, you can bring anything you'd like to play, whether it matches the theme or not - but we're bringing:
- Hitster
Musical Timeline Trivia game - can you correctly fit the song into your timeline from just a 30 second clip? It doesn't matter if you know the artist, or the lyrics, or the name of the song - all that matters is that you can correctly insert it on a timeline of the other songs you've correctly placed - which gets harder the more you identify! This went down well in February, and can accommodate lots of players, so we thought we'd bring it back again!
- Murano: Lightmasters
A beautiful game where up to 4 players trade glass tokens in order to create masterpieces - we've not brought it to Board Games night before!
- One Night Ultimate Werewolf
Already a modern classic, super quick to play - each game only takes 5 minutes, easy enough to learn. Can you identify which of the players is the werewolf, or will they be cunning enough to lie and bluff their way out of capture? Already a firm favourite at Board Games nights.
- Happy Salmon
Fun frenetic card swapping (and place swapping!) matching game. Easy to learn, fun to play! Last seen at the very first Board Games night in October, so it's due for a return!
- Catan
The classic! Back by popular request. Who will make the best trades, build the most roads and cities, or steal the most resources from opponents?
- Animal Upon Animal
Lovely little balance game - needs a steady hand, so maybe not after too many pints! Who can be the first to stack all their animals on top of the crocodile without them falling off?
- Neanderthal Poetry
This game need you to say small words. No big words. No long word. Can you get your team to speak word on card with no use big word? More hard than you might think! If you go wrong you get bonk on head with big stick! Ha ha much laughs, lots fun.
See you there!
